The Garden of the Gods Club is a hotel as well as a country club, and you are more than welcome to stay there, or if you prefer something a little less expensive, there are several other hotel options in the area.

 

The Lodge at The Garden of the Gods Club
-There are 69 Lodge rooms and suites and each and every one of them has a spectacular view of the Garden of the Gods and Pikes Peak. There are rooms with one king bed or two double beds available. If you prefer to be able to walk just down the hall a bit to get to the wedding, or not worry about driving after drinking at the wedding, this is the perfect option for you. This is also where we will spend our first night as a married couple.
-We do not have a block of rooms here, but you are still able to reserve a beautiful room here for the wedding. To reserve a room, please call 719.632.5541 and mention that you are reserving a room for the Moore/Sims wedding (June 26th).

Hampton Inn & Suites
- We have a block of 15 rooms at the Hampton Inn & Suites, which is located at 2910 Geyser Drive, 10 miles (about 15-20 minutes driving distance) from the wedding and reception site, and 2.5 miles (5 minutes driving distance) from our house. This hotel is only a couple of years old, clean, and in a safe area. All rooms include a complimentary breakfast, most rooms have a microwave and fridge. There is an indoor pool, hot tub, and fitness center. Plus, there are lots of great restaurants within walking distance (Chilis, Outback, Carabba’s, Chuck E. Cheese, Arby’s, Burger King, Baskin’ Robbins, Denny’s…), as is Tinseltown (the movie theater) and Target.
- King Standard room: one king-size bed; discounted price of $116/night (plus tax).
- Double room: two queen-size beds; discounted price of $129/night (plus tax).
- King Studio: one king-size bed and a sleeper sofa; discounted price of $134/night (plus tax).
- The discounted rates are available from June 22nd until July 1st, and you must reserve your room by May 25th to get the discounted price.
- Also, be sure to mention that you are a AAA member, and you will get another discount on top of the blocked room price! (They may also have a discount for AARP)

Other hotels in the area that we recommend are:

LaQuinta Inn & Suites (Colorado Springs South – Geyser Road)
This is in the same area as the Hampton Inn – a very nice and safe area, and the LaQuinta was built more recently than the other in town. While the other LaQuinta (Colorado Springs – Garden of the Gods Road) may be a bit closer to the ceremony site, that one is right next to the highway, so it may be pretty noisy. The one on Geyser Road is very nice and quiet, and is close to many restaurants and stores including Target. Click here for the website.

Cheyenne Mountain Resort
If you’re looking for something a bit nicer, this is a beautiful hotel with views almost as beautiful as the rooms at the Garden of the Gods Club. It is part of the country club where Jenny grew up spending her summers, and is just a couple of minutes away from Jenny’s parents’ house, perfect for the Monday brunch! It takes about 15-20 minutes to get to the Garden of the Gods Club, but is an absolutely beautiful drive there. Click here for the website.

Antlers Hilton Colorado Springs
If you would like to stay in downtown Colorado Springs, this is a great hotel, and is central to everything! Rooms with a beautiful mountain view are available, and there are many things within walking distance. This hotel is about 15 minutes from Jenny’s parents’ house, and about 10-15 minutes from the Garden of the Gods Club. Click here for the website.
